Gardashkhan Asgarov, father of Dilgam Asgarov who was taken hostage by Armenians in Armenian-occupied Kalbajar district of Azerbaijan appealed to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in a video, AzVision.az reports.
`I kindly ask Ilham Aliyev to help us for releasing my son. I have not seen Dilgam for three years. My son went to his motherland and then was taken hostage by the Armenian side. I believe our president will help us in this issue. I wish my son to live by me till the end of my life`, he said in a video appeal.
Note, in July of 2014, Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostage and another Azerbaijani citizen Hasan Hasanov was shot to death by the Armenian servicemen while trying to visit their homeland in Kalbajar.
