Ilham Aliyev to attend World Economic Forum to be held in Davos

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev is expected to attend the World Economic Forum which will be held in Davos, Sweden on January 17-20, 2017.

Along with state heads and ministers, some Hollywood actors like Matt Damon and Forest Whitaker will also attend the forum, AzVision.az reports citing Turkish Media.

The state leaders and prime ministers of more than 30 countries will take part in the event.

Neither Turkish President Erdogan, nor the Prime Minister Binali Yildirim will participate at the forum. Turkey will be represented by the deputy prime minister Mehmet Shimsek and the ministry of economy Nihat Zeybekci.

The presidents of Afghanistan, Ukraine and South Africa are also expected to take part in the forum.
