Int’l Rail Business Forum kicks off in Baku - PHOTOS
The international railway business forum titled “Strategic partnership 1520: Caucasus region – connecting four corners of the world” has kicked off in Baku Nov. 25.
The event is attended by heads of national railway companies of broad gauge countries, representatives of leading transportation, logistics and engineering enterprises, as well as core institutions of public administration of Azerbaijan and Russia.

Issues of international transport corridors, construction of railway infrastructure, rolling stock manufacturing and building logistics chains will be considered during the forum.

Participants will discuss the issues of the Caspian transit, development of the North-South corridor, diversification of exports, financing, investments, multimodal transportation and others.

In conclusion, relevant documents will be signed. Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Javid Gurbanov and Vice-President of Russian Railways JSC Alexander Misharin will deliver closing speeches at the event.
