For a long time, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Georgia and as well as European Union give the alarm on the Metsamor NPP which is considered as ‘time bomb`.
Metsamor NPP poses threat to the region as it is located in the seismic zone, dumps the radioactive waste into Kura and Araz rivers and nuclear materials can be obtained by the terrorist groups.
On the other side, Armenia keeps on using the old power plant ignoring the international obligations.
