The settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict was discussed in the context of Russia’s recent efforts, RIA Novosti cited Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for Russia`s president, as saying.
The Karabakh issue was also discussed during a telephone conversation between Russian and Kazakh presidents. Putin informed his Kazakh counterpart about the steps taken by Russia in this respect.
