Putin dismissed eight generals
Russian President Vladimir Putin has fired eight generals, law enforcement agencies, including two of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) – the Deputy head of the main Department of procedural control in the sphere of counteraction of corruption Dmitry Shershakov and first Deputy head of the main Directorate of the TFR Vitaly Frolov. This is stated in the presidential decree published on Friday, 26 August on the official portal of legal information.
Shershakov previously worked for the Moscow Prosecutor’s office, was the head Perovskoy Interdistrict Prosecutor, the Prosecutor of southwest district of Moscow, headed the investigation Department of the TFR in the South-Western district.
