The Republic of Azerbaijan`s ambassador to the United States, Elin Süleymanov is likely to attend at Donald Trump`s inauguration, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Azerbaijan to the USA, Azad Aslanov told to AzVision.az in his exclusive statement.
According to the protocol rules, foreign countries are represented by the heads of the diplomatic missions accredited to Washington at the US presidential inaugurations. Therefore, the Embassy of Azerbaijan to the USA will attend the inaugurational event according to the rules.
Note, Donald Trump won the presidential elections by defeating Hillary Clinton on November 8.
Inauguration day of the new-elected president will take place on January 20.
