The nine-round “Open Corsica Maestri” tournament will bring together 61 players, including 19 grandmasters.
Some 12 contestants will be determined as a result of the tournament to play at the rapid tournament’s round of 16 which will be attended by Azerbaijani GM Teymur Rajabov, former World Champion Viswanathan Anand, etc.
The final will be played on October 30.
