“EP closely follows trial of human rights defender Leyla Yunus in Azerbaijan. So I’ll be Baku on 13 July to observe her court case”, Kati Piri the Member of the European Parliament tweeted on July 7, AzVision.az reports.

She was elected to the European Parliament for the Netherlands in 2004. She represents Labor Party. As mentioned by Kati Piri, she had worked at the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy for 6 years. During the very six years she had been to Armenia too and built close relations with representatives of different Armenian political parties. So, she admits her pro-Armenian position.

Kati Piri has close relations with Ulrike Lunacek as well. We have already given quite more information about Ulrike Lunacek, so we are not going to dwell on this issue. Let’s mention once more that the Austrian politician, member of sexual minority and defender of their rights Ulrike Lunacek is an active participant of all political games organized against Azerbaijan.

Kati Piri was one of the individuals who wrote anti-Azerbaijan letter to Donald Tusk.

As you see, Kati Piri is another member of pro-Armenian team. Note, she was one of the active members of the anti-Azerbaijan campaign, regarding with Baku 2015 European Games.

Now, this pro-Armenian MP is coming to Baku to attend the court case of Leyla Yunus and calls other EP members to support her. The aim is obvious: to start one more anti-Azerbaijan campaign at the European Parliament.
