`Shahbaz Guliyev becomes unrecognizable`
Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev, who was taken hostage by the Armenian Armed Forces did not respond to the letter sent him by his family, Ilham Guliyev, the brother of the hostage told AzVision.az.

`ICRC representatives showed us the latest photos of Shahbaz. He became unrecognizable. Shahbaz has serious health problems. We hardly recognize him when we watch the photos. Before the Armenian captivity he was 110 kg. He lost weight a lot. I am sure , he is in very desperate straits. He did not respond to our letter. We worry about him`, I.Guliyev said.

Dilgam Askerov, another Azerbaijani citizen taken hostage by Armenians wrote letter to his family. However, we did not get any letter from Shahbaz. Those latest photos of Shahbaz should be shown to the Armenian human rights activists coming to Baku. Although we treat with them well, they torture our citizens.

In July of 2014, Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostage and another Azerbaijani citizen Hasan Hasanov was shot to death by the Armenian servicemen while trying to visit their homeland in Kalbajar. Hasan Hasanov’s body was taken from the enemy and buried in Baku. On December 19, 2014, the “court” of the separatist regime in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh sentenced Dilgam Asgarov to life in prison, Shahbaz Guliyev to 22 years in prison.
