Residents of Azerbaijan's liberated Lachin city and Zabukh village have been presented with more than 40 professions, a source in the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan reported.

According to the source, about 15 employers presented more than 40 professional areas and conducted master classes for the residents at the fair with the motto “Learn a profession in Lachin!” held for the first time in the liberated territories.

The fair participants were briefed on professions as well as enterprises that provide training in these professions.

The source pointed out that the agency continues to work on organizing vocational courses for residents of the liberated territories, where they learn the knowledge and skills of professions meeting the demands of the demands of the labor market.

Upon completion of these courses, residents of the liberated territories are provided with assistance in finding employment.

To note, following the liberation of its territories from Armenian occupation in 2020, Azerbaijan initiated the long-awaited 'Great Return' program, which envisions the return of IDPs to their native lands.

Overall, 1,500 citizens living in the liberated territories have been provided with permanent jobs.
