Turkish minister: BTK railway will be connected to railroad from Black Sea
Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project will be completed this year in June, Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication Ahmet Arslan said at the Uludağ Economic Summit on March 25.


Informing about Turkey's large-scale infrastructure projects, the minister said that the interests of not only Turkey but all countries have been considered before the implementation of those projects started.

“The project will unite Asia and Europe. The construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be completed in June. After that, the train from London will be able to travel to Central Asia”, said the minister.

The minister added that Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be connected to the railroad, which will be laid from the Black Sea coast.
