'Azerbaijan is keen to establish joint ventures with UAE'
"Azerbaijan is interested in building close cooperation and establishing joint ventures in industrial, logistic and transportation areas with the United Arab Emirates," said Azerbaijani Deputy Economy Minister Sahil Babayev as he met with the top managers of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Babayev noted Azerbaijan's keenness to attract Arabian companies in the country. He emphasized that the Azerbaijani government is interested in exploring all the opportunities for developing mutual trade and bilateral cooperation betweent the two countries.

Vice Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Majid Al Shamsi described Azerbaijan-UAE trade relationship as fruitful, saying thanks to high-level reciprocal visits these relations have further strengthened in recent years. He noted that following the opening of Dubai Chamber's first representative office in Baku in 2012 non-oil trade has grown considerably between Dubai and Azerbaijan.
