Combating corruption is key priority direction of state policy - Fuad Aleskerov
`Today, Azerbaijan is a space that unites such concepts as large-scale reforms, regional energy projects, stability, multiculturalism and social welfare `, Fuad Aleskerov, the head of the Department on Work with Law Enforcement Bodies of Presidential Administration and the Member of the Commission on Combating Corruption said in the conference titled `Anti-Corruption Management Systems Standard` held in Baku, AzVision.az reports.
Strengthening transparency in state administration, the development of electronic services and fighting against corruption are the main priority directions of the state policy: `There is a strong political will in our country for a successfull fight against corruption, ` F. Aleskerov said.

The official of the Presidential Administration stressed, “National strategy and action plans on combating corruption“ were adopted according to the decrees by the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev and new strategic views and tasks had been determined.

`Institutional and legislative reforms implemented in accordance with this strategy, e-government infrastructure, close co-operation with civil society, principles of public participation and large-scale educational measures are the successes of our anti-corruption policy`, he said.

F. Aleskerov noted, one can say with confidence that Azerbaijan possesses all mechanisms to combat with corruption and this process is in constant progress.

`The positive dynamic in this field is also reflected in the international anti-corruption index. Within the framework of continuous strategy for fighting against corruption, special importance is given to the co-operation with specialized international organizations`.
