Azerbaijani, Croatian foreign ministries hold political consultations
The Azerbaijani and Croatian foreign ministries have conducted political consultations. Deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov and Assistant Minister for European Affairs Gordan Bakota led the Azerbaijani and Croatian delegations at the negotiations.
Khalafov emphasized speedy development of political dialogue between the two countries, hailing the role of visits and meetings of the heads of state in this process. He noted that Azerbaijan is interested in expanding and deepening cooperation with Croatia in all spheres. Khalafov expressed his confidence that the inter-governmental economic commission will contribute to the development of economic and trade relations.

Bakota noted the importance of continuing joint efforts towards developing economic ties. He stressed the role of President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović’s visit to Azerbaijan in raising the bilateral relations to the level of strategic partnership.
