BBC Radio 5 Live goes off air as studio is evacuated
BBC Radio 5 Live has gone off air.

Confused listeners took to Twitter on Wednesday just before 2pm to ask what was happening after hearing an evacuation alert in the background of the live broadcast.
BBC radio presenter Natalie-Eve Williams tweeted: "My work building is now being evacuated! Stay safe."

Fellow journalist Kate West uploaded a video, showing people congregating outside the building. Her caption read: "Update: just BBC Quay House is being evacuated."

Other listeners said they'd heard a siren in the background of the broadcast before the show switched to a pre-record as the studio was evacuated.
