"Today we buy the most advanced arms and military equipment. We’ll keep buying more arms. We’ll spend on the army as much as needed,” said President Aliyev, adding. “Unlike destitute Armenia, we sustain our army on our own and we live in an independent country. However, they have chosen another way—to be a colony. It is their choice.”
The president stressed that the Azerbaijani army is ready to fulfill any task.
“The April battles proved this and showed again that Azerbaijan will never tolerate Armenia’s armed provocations and showed that Azerbaijan will never reconcile with the current situation,” he added.
