Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan discuss interparliamentary relations

Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan discuss interparliamentary relations

Vice Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Altynai Omurbekova has met with visiting Azerbaijani MPs Javanshir Feyziyev, Musa Guliyev and Chingiz Ganizade.

Omurbekova hailed the development of relations between the two countries in all areas, including interparliamentary ties. She congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Republic Day.

MP Javanshir Feyziyev expressed confidence that friendly relations between the two countries would be further developed.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Hidayet Orujov praised close relations between the two countries` legislative bodies. Omurbekova said the next meeting of TURKPA is expected to be held in Kyrgyzstan in July, adding they will be happy to see Azerbaijan`s Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov in the meeting.
