NATO PA spring session ends in Tbilisi
The spring session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly ended in Tbilisi on May 29.
In the plenary meeting of the session, numerous recommendatory decisions and a declaration supporting Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration were adopted.

During the committee meetings, the Azerbaijani delegation gave detailed information about the social and economic development of our country, the global energy and infrastructure projects it implemented in the region, the contribution of Europe to energy security, the occupation of 20 percent of the territory of Azerbaijan due to the Armenia's aggressive policy and the problem of more than a million refugees and internally displaced persons. Members of the delegation gave an adequate response to Armenian lies voiced during the session.

The issue of Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration was the main topic of discussion in the plenary meeting.

The participants spoke about territorial integrity and inviolability of borders of Georgia, the reforms conducted in Georgian Armed Forces and in the country. It was noted that these reforms play an important role in Georgia’s integration into NATO.
