A fourth person was detained in relation to the attacks in Spain’s Barcelona and Cambrils, the Catalan police said Friday.
The Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia’s police force reported about the detainment on its Twitter account.

The terrorist attacks in two Catalan cities of Barcelona and Cambrils left at least 14 people dead, Catalan emergencies service reports citing the Health Ministry.

As many as 130 people were injured in the Barcelona ramming attack, with 16 of them remaining in critical condition.

The ramming took place on Thursday afternoon, when a van mowed down a crowd of pedestrians in the central Ramblas area in Spain’s tourist resort of Barcelona. The infamous terrorist group Daesh has already claimed responsibility for the attack. Hours after the tragedy, another vehicle attack took place in the coastal town of Cambrils, south of Barcelona.
