A Finnish court has revealed the name of an 18-year-old Moroccan suspected of attacking people in the town of Turku on Friday.
The suspected attacker, Abderrahman Mechkah, is accused of murdering two women, and an attempted murder, with terrorist intent, according to the court.

Local police request that the individual, in hospital at the moment, be detained.

On Friday, two people were killed and eight others were injured in a knife attack at Turku's market square. The suspect arrived in Turku last year and was trying to obtain asylum in Finland.

On Sunday, Finland observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the stabbing attack victims.
