 President Aliyev met with his Albanian counterpart 

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with Albanian president Ilir Meta, who is attending the 7th Global Baku Forum, AzVision.az reports. 

President Aliyev expressed his gratitude to his Albanian counterpart Ilir Meta for his visit to Azerbaijan and participation in the 7th Global Baku Forum. President Aliyev also highlighted the increasing number of participants of the forum which has become much more influential at the international level. The head of state spoke of the importance of this forum in terms of the international issues and discussion of bilateral relations. 

Speaking of TAP Project, President Aliyev stated that construction works continues successfully at the last stage. This project connects both our countries and nations. The head of the state also underlined the attention given to the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Albania. 

Speaking of the importance of the 7th Global Baku Forum, Albanina President Ilir Meta emphasized the contribution of the forum to the international co-operation. Albanian president expressed his gratitude to Ilham Aliyev for his support to development of the bilateral relations.

Albanian President confirmed that the works within TAP Project were successfully continuing. President Meta also stated that Albania had interests in expansion of relations with Azerbaijan, especially in the field of tourism and Azerbaijan's creation of internal gasification system in Albania. 

]Besides, successful co-operation between the countries  within the international orgnizations was highlighted at the meeting. Presidents exchanged views on expansion of mutual trade, study of export and import opportunities, creation of business relations and other issues.
