Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev thanked Jeffrey Sachs for his attendance at the 7th Baku Global Forum. Jeffrey Sachs, in turn, expressed his gratitude to the President for the invitation. Talking about the importance of the forum, Sachs underlined the importance of effective discussions on regional and other issues.
"The number of countries and participants represented in the 7th Global Forum has increased and this Forum has become an important international event", the head of the state said.
The sides exchanged views on ongoing economic development processes in Azerbaijan, large-scale global projects realized in the country as well as its energy policy.
