  Over 70 people take oath of Azerbaijani citizenship 

The State Migration Service of Azerbaijan hosted an oath-taking ceremony for 74 people, who obtained Azerbaijani citizenship by a relevant order signed by the country’s President Ilham Aliyev on March 13, AzVision.az reports.

Addressing the ceremony, Vusal Huseynov, Head of the State Migration Service congratulated those persons on the occasion of becoming Azerbaijani citizens.

He pointed out the increasing number of persons wishing to obtain Azerbaijani citizenship.

“Azerbaijan, known as a safe, tolerant and multicultural country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, is following the path of development in all areas. For this reason, becoming a full-fledged citizen of Azerbaijan is source of pride and happiness.” said Huseynov.

In the end, Huseynov congrtatulated the participants on the occasion of the upcoming Novruz Holiday.

Later on, some 74 people took their oaths of allegiance to become Azerbaijani citizens.

The event wrapped up after the national anthem of Azerbaijan was played.
