President Aliyev said that Azerbaijan and Argentina cooperate in several areas, hailing the role of mutual visits at various levels, AzVision.az reports. The head of state underlined the importance of expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
Expressing his gratitude for the reception, Emilio Monzo conveyed Argentine President Mauricio Macri’s greetings to the Azerbaijani president.
He said that President Ilham Aliyev enjoys a high reputation beyond the borders of Azerbaijan, including in Argentina. Monzo expressed satisfaction with the fact that Azerbaijan has built good friendly ties with other countries thanks to President Aliyev’s policy.
Emilio Monzo added that Argentina is interested in comprehensive development of relations with Azerbaijan.
The sides also emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries in economic, trade, tourism, humanitarian and other spheres.
In the end, President Aliyev asked Emilio Monzo to convey his greetings to Argentine leader Mauricio Macri.
