"The industrial production is increasing in our country. Over the four months of this year, the non-oil sector has grown by more than 15 per cent. Both large enterprises that strengthen our industrial potential and small and medium-sized enterprises are starting to operate. We have a very good investment climate and tens of billions of dollars of direct foreign investments in Azerbaijan is a good illustration to that. I am sure that our dynamic development will be further ensured"

President Ilham Aliyev underlined that the economic and social reforms are yielding positive results: "According to the "Doing Business – 2019 report" prepared by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, successfully implemented reforms allowed the country to achieve the 25th place among 190 countries of the world. These reforms will allow us to further strengthen the social sphere, eliminate unemployment, increase local production and ensure the social security of Azerbaijani citizens. The steps we have taken this year reflect our policy; we are pursuing a social policy and this policy is yielding its results".

"The Fourth State Program on the Socio-Economic Development of the Regions has already been implemented and I am confident that all the tasks will be fulfilled this year. The non-oil sector plays a special role in achieving dynamic development. We are dealing with this issue very seriously and the results are obvious", said the head of state.
