  Moscow Region court arrested Armenian suspect accused in murder of special forces soldier

The Krasnogorsk City Court of the Moscow Region took unemployed Sergey Khojayan, 42, into custody until August 2. He is accused of killing former GRU special forces officer Nikita Belyankin during a mass brawl in Putilkovo, the Moscow Region, AzVision.az reports citing TASS.

Earlier, the court also placed Narek Stepanyan, accused of hooliganism because of participation in a fight, to a pre-trial detention center.

On June 1, a reserve lieutenant and veteran of the GRU General Staff of the Defense Ministry, Nikita Belyankin, 24, saw about ten people beating up two men and stood up for them. As a result, he was stabbed in the heart. The ICR reported about four detainees and 17 people put on the wanted list.
