Practical firing from various types of small arms and pistols was carried out, as well as exercises on throwing a hand grenade were held, the Defense Ministry told AzVision.az on Wednesday.
During the training sessions held with the commanders of motorized rifle companies and platoons, the issues of planning, preparing and conducting live-fire tactical exercises of a platoon were worked out, and the methodology for personnel and fire control during exercises was practically demonstrated. The units have timely and accurately fulfilled combat mission and conducted the fire attacks on the imaginary enemy in the difficult conditions prevailing during the exercise.
The professional management abilities of the commanders and the high-level of field skills of the military personnel played an important role in achieving the goals set at the exercise.
