Georgia to chair Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers

Georgia will take over the chairmanship of Council of Europe’s (CoE) Committee of Ministers for a six-month term from November 27, 2019, Azvision.az reports citing Georgian MFA.

The chairmanship will be passed from France to Georgia.

A solemn ceremony will be held at the CoE’s Strasbourg headquarters on the occasion of taking the chairmanship over.

Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani will leave for Strasbourg in order to participate in the ceremony.
