I am grateful to the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for awarding me the "Friendship" order, said Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu who is on an official visit, AzVision.az reports.
"President Ilham Aliyev awarded me with this order for my contributions to the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. Of course, these two countries defend each other. Most importantly, Azerbaijan defends Turkey in the global events in which we do not attend. I promise to continue defending the just cause of Azerbaijan on a global scale", Cavusoglu noted.
Note, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on awarding “Dostlug” Order to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
