District commission members cannot obstruct observers - Official

"Members of district commissions must work in line with the law," Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said.

Panahov has today held a press conference to declare the parliamentary elections open, AzVision.az reports citing secki-2020.az.

The CEC head said members of the district commissions have no right to obstruct registered observers:

"This rule is valid for observers too. They should not impede the work of the district commissions."
