President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Peter Maurer and the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference.
President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the importance of releasing Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev taken hostage in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan by the Armenian Armed forces in his meeting with the ICRC President Peter Maurer. President Aliyev also stressed the significance of the exchange of all hostages on the principle of "all for all" in the context of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
In the meeting with the Kuwaiti PM, President Ilham Aliyev and Kuwait PM Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah highly evaluated the chairmanship of Azerbaijan in the Non-Aligned Movement highlighting the broad prospects for cooperation among the countries in this framework.
Azerbaijani President and Kuwait PM also emphasized the necessity of expansion of economic-trade relation between Azerbaijan and Kuwait.
The sides also expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries highlighting the increase in the number of tourists from Kuwait to Azerbaijan. They also mentioned the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the framework of OPEC+.
