State Migration Service: No fines for expiration of temporary stay in Azerbaijan

No administrative measures are imposed on those whose temporary stay in Azerbaijan expired or will expire during the period from March 16 to April 30, Vusal Huseynov, Head of State Migration Service wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday.

“In general, those people are not required to apply or come to the registration departments,” he said.

Huseynov pointed out that those who apply for an extension of their temporary stay in Azerbaijan (visa or 90 day) and those whose temporary stay expires during this period, can pay the fees on the website of the State Migration Service.

“If they fail to apply, in any case their stay will be considered extended. The fees can be paid by bank card or through “express pay” terminals using payment numbers,” he said. “Payment numbers are currently available for those whose temporary stay is due to expire on March 16-31. “

Huseynov added that next week the State Migration Service will provide information on those whose temporary stay in the country expires in April.
