 Extraordinary Summit of Turkic Council held through videoconferencing - UPDATED

On the initiative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chairman of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Ilham Aliyev, an extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council has today been held through videoconferencing.

The Summit focused on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

President Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the Summit.

On the initiative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chairman of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Ilham Aliyev, an extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council started through videoconferencing, AzVision.az reports. 

The meeting is attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, Secretary-General of the Turkish Council Baghdad Amreyev and the World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adanom Gebreisus.

The Summit will focus on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
