The military clashes continue in the direction of the Tovuz region of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border starting from 05:45 am Thursday, July 16 until now, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces destroyed about 20 enemy forces, 1 armored vehicle, 1 radio-electronic combat (REM) vehicle, command posts and support points in the ongoing clashes.
Nazim Ismayilov, conscript soldier of the Azerbaijani army was killed by the Armenian Armed Forces during the clashes.
The Ministry of Defense expresses its deepest condolences to the family of our martyred serviceman and wishes them patience.
