"Azerbaijani Army does not target the civilians, settlements and civilian infrastructure. Unlike Armenia, Azerbaijan complies with the requirements of international humanitarian law, including the Geneva Conventions, during its military operations", says the official statement of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.
"The Armenian Armed Forces deliberately deployed its firing points inside and near civilian settlements. The Azerbaijani Army calls on the civilian population in the occupied territories to stay away from military facilities", the ministry noted.
