Regarding the provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces, staff, local departments, divisions and units of State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of Azerbaijan have received appeals from a number of citizens, who voluntarily want to go to the frontline to fight and provide the necessary assistance. It should be noted that conscription of citizens is carried out in accordance with the normative regulations.
The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription expresses its gratitude to our citizens for their patriotism.
Currently the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are staffed in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. Protection of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan is provided by the Azerbaijani Army.
Therefore, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of Azerbaijan states, if it is necessary, military reserve personnel may be summoned to local structural units of the Service in accordance with the requirements of existing legislation and involved in appropriate measures to ensure the country's defense and state security. There is not such a necessity now.
