Nikol Pashinyan triggers panic among Armenian citizens with fake news, says Azerbaijani President’s Aide

On October 1, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan shared posts on his Facebook account which could trigger panic among the people on purpose, said Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev at the briefing held on October 2.

“According to Pashniyans fake post, some drones were flying over Yerevan. Pashinyan also shared about the shooting down of these drones. Later, these fake videos made by the program were removed from social media”, Hikmet Hajiyev noted.

Hajiyev highlighted the President Ilham Aliyev’s statement which says that we have nothing to do with the Armenian people, the civilian population: “We call on civilians to stay away from military facilities. In this case, their safety can be ensured. "
