OIC General Secretariat condemns Armenia’s violation of humanitarian truce

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed concern over the violation of the humanitarian ceasefire agreement reached between the Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers on October 10, 2020, which resulted in the death and injury of many civilians.

The OIC General Secretariat reiterated its solidarity with the Republic of Azerbaijan and called for a political settlement of the conflict between the two countries on the basis of Azerbaijan's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and inviolability of its internationally recognized borders, recalling the resolutions and decisions of the OIC, as well as the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council, Defence.az reports.

The General Secretariat of the Organization extends its deepest condolences to the families of the martyred Azerbaijanis, the government and people of Azerbaijan and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.
