Azerbaijani people were expelled from Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding areas more than 30 years ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a speech at a group meeting of the AKP, Azvision.az reports.
In his speech, Erdogan stated that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs - the United States, Russia and France - did not achieve the solution to the conflict.
"They held negotiations then left. Of course, Azerbaijan has to protect the security of its citizens. Armenia attacked and Azerbaijan defended itself. We are confident that our Azerbaijani brothers will take back their lands. I believe that victory belongs to the Azerbaijanis. May God help them in this fight. We have always stood by them for a while and will continue standing by them.", Erdogan added.
