The article says Armenia’s use of banned cluster munitions to attack Azerbaijan’s Barda city has already been verified by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, AzVision.az reports.
It notes that Armenia’s missile attack on Barda has claimed the lives of 21 civilians and left 70 others injured.
“Cluster munitions do not have a clear military target since they release many small bomblets, and therefore their use in urban centers is prohibited by international law,” the article adds.
