  Armenian occupation destroys Red Monastery in Azerbaijan

The Red Monastery in Gozlu village of Kalbajar region is on the verge of destruction, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.

The Ministry stated that the historical monument, which was built in 1224, belongs to Albanian Christian architecture: "It consists of a complex church, narthex, convent and other buildings. The monument has been under Armenian occupation since 1993 and is on the verge of extinction."
