Azerbaijan to involve int’l organizations in process of assessing damage caused by Armenia

During their latest military provocations, the Armenian armed forces fired ballistic missiles not only at Azerbaijan’s civilian population and facilities along the frontline, but also at cities outside the frontline zone, including Ganja, Mingachevir, Khizi and other cities, said Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the Azerbaijani President, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.

Hajiyev made the remarks at a briefing on Friday, AzVision.az reports.

More than 90 Azerbaijani civilians were killed and over 400 others wounded as a result of the recent acts of vandalism and barbarism by Armenians, the presidential aide noted.

Hajiyev said Azerbaijan will involve both local bodies and international organizations in the process of assessing the damage caused to its citizens by Armenia since September 27.

“The figures to be obtained based on the assessment process will be made public. After this process, the necessary steps will be taken to eliminate the damage caused to our citizens,” he added.
