The influential Italian newspaper La Repubblica has prepared a video report entitled “Post-war trip to Azerbaijan: between destroyed villages and unexploded bomb”.

The vide report authored by journalist Pietro Del Re highlights the neutralization of the Armenian-fired banned phosphorus munitions by Azerbaijan in Fuzuli. The journalist says that while visiting the territories liberated by the Azerbaijani Army, he witnessed a horrible scene full of endless kilometers of rubble.

“We are in Fuzuli, or rather in the ruins of the city after 30 years when tens of thousands of Azerbaijanis were expelled from the city by Armenian troops. The Karabakh war in the early 1990s was marked by numerous ethnic cleansings. Everything is destroyed here,” the journalist says.

Pietro Del Re notes the city of Fuzuli was liberated from occupation two weeks ago.

The video report also covers an interview by Fuzuli city resident Fadiya Gahramanova, who was born in that city 67 years ago.

The Italian journalist then highlights the recent visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Fuzuli.
