Captured Azerbaijani soldier’s father invited to ICRC Baku Office

Yashar Karimov, father of Azerbaijani soldier Bayram Karimov, who was wounded during the fighting for the liberation of Shusha city and captured by Armenians, was invited to the Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Baku.

“The ICRC has not yet informed us about the meeting with the prisoners of war and their health conditions. But I will meet with them after 3 hours to get information about my son,” Yashar Karimov told AzVision.az.

Karimov said both of his sons voluntarily joined the fighting.

“Bayram last contacted us on November 6, saying that they [soldiers] were going from Fuzuli to Shusha. We have not been in contact since then. I thought my son had been martyred since I was the related video. My niece said that Bayram was captured. After that, we informed the relevant agencies,” he added.

Soldiers Amin Musayev and Bayram Karimov were captured by Armenian troops after being wounded during the battles for the liberation of Shusha.
