Today President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva visited the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, Shusha which was liberated from the Armenian occupation on November 8.
One of the highlights of the visit was the demonstration of President Ilham Aliyev's photo with national leader Heydar Aliyev in front of the Natavan spring 39 years ago in Shusha.
Note, national leader Heydar Aliyev visited Shusha on January 14, 1982. During the visit, tomb of the great Azerbaijani poet Molla Panah Vagif was inaugurated. Ilham Aliyev was among those accompanying the great leader on that visit.
