  Armenia fires about 30,000 shells at Azerbaijan’s districts, cities during Patriotic War

In order to convey the Armenian atrocities and war crimes to the international community, Azerbaijan has sent letters to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, the Coordinating Council of Prosecutor Generals of the CIS countries and other international organizations, said Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev.

Moreover, Azerbaijan has submitted 46 applications for legal assistance to the competent authorities of 37 foreign countries, Aliyev said at a board meeting dedicated to the results of the work done in 2020 and future tasks, AzVision.az reports.

The prosecutor general stressed that the Armenian armed forces fired about 30,000 shells and 227 missiles at Azerbaijan’s cities and districts during the Patriotic War.

“As a result of the attacks, numerous properties were damaged, private houses, multi-apartment residential buildings, non-residential areas, administrative buildings of state agencies, religious facilities, mosques, churches and cemeteries were destroyed,” he added.
