Deghati said the image of Azerbaijani poet Khurshidbanu Natavan on the wall was destroyed.
“In 1992 in Shusha, I saw this painting of her portrait with one of her poems. I returned in December after 28 years of Occupation the painting and all physical proof of her presence were destroyed. Who is afraid of the poets?” the photojournalist tweeted.
