President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the establishment of a working group by the Republic of Azerbaijan for the purpose of preparation and agreement of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan on the joint exploration and development of hydrocarbon resources of "Dostlug field" in the Caspian Sea, AzVision.az reports citing the Presidential press service. 

Under the relevant decree, a working group was established by the Republic of Azerbaijan to prepare and approve a draft intergovernmental agreement regulating cooperation between the sides on joint exploration and development of hydrocarbon resources of "Dostlug" field:

Head of the Working Group

Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Members of the Working Group

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Vice President on investments and marketing of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Vice President on geology and geophysics of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Ministries of Energy and Foreign Affairs must resolve the issues arising from this order.
