Azerbaijani state doing its utmost for martyrs’ families and war disabled - President Aliyev

The Azerbaijani state is doing its utmost for the families of martyrs and war disabled, said President Ilham Aliyev, AzVision.az reports.

Speaking at a meeting with the family members of martyrs and war disabled, the head of state said his policy towards this issue is unequivocal.

“Over the past 17 years, I’ve repeatedly met with martyrs’ families at various events,” he noted.

President Aliyev emphasized that about 9,200 families of martyrs and war disabled have been provided with apartments in Azerbaijan.

“Last year alone, 1,572 apartments were provided to them. About 3,000 apartments will be handed over this year. Thus, the families of our sons martyred in both the first and second Karabakh wars will, who are residing in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron, will be provided with apartments by the end of this year,” he added.
